Janice - CEO & Founder

Thanks for taking the time to check us out! My name is Janice and I am the founder of Care FNQ. I grew up in Adelaide and am a Mum of three now adult boys and have three beautiful grandchildren. I spent 13 years as a Correctional Officer; eventually moving into Home Detention, Probation and Parole.


Deciding in 2009 to leave corrections, I completed my Certificate III in Aged Care and commenced working in nursing homes in Adelaide. I was lucky enough to move into disability about a year later as a team leader in a SIL’s home. Completing my Certificate IV in Disability several years ago, I have in my working life gained experience in all areas of support—as a correctional officer and then as a support worker, moving into management roles within disability and aged care. I have been able to work with some fantastic clients enabling me to learn hands on a lot about what is needed to successfully see my clients achieve their dreams and goals. This is how running my own business supporting those in need, became a dream of mine.


So after moving to Cairns in 2013, my family and I started our first branch of Care FNQ in 2020 with the goal of establishing ourselves across Australia. Now that we have been successful for a number of years, we are confident, come what may. I made a promise to myself when we started the business that no matter what, if we cannot help someone, I will find someone who can so that everyone gets the support they need. I believe we can all work together to ensure the correct supports are being provided. Ensuring everyone is given the right to have choice and control, while maintaining their right to dignity of risk, ensuring this is fundamental in all areas of a person’s life.

Anthony Krebbekx - Office Manager

My name is Anthony and I am the General Manager of Care FNQ.  As one of the three sons of Janice the CEO and founder, I was also born and raised in Adelaide.


When we started our first branch of Care FNQ in 2020, it was my first experience to the industry that I now love. My background was in hospitality management, specifically hotel and area management.


When we first started the company, I was the man with many hats, fully immersing myself in the industry whilst building the business administration requirements. I also worked as a support worker and case manager until a time when we had expanded to the point that my focus was required for administrative/operational management—although I still jump at the opportunity to go on supports every now and then.


Because I stand by our values and believe no one should be without the support they need, no one should have to do it hard and feel alone, having seen so many issues that everyday people face. Therefore, it is important to me to establish good communication and relationships with everyone, regardless of barriers they may have.

Natalie - Rostering Officer

Hello, I'm Natalie or Nat for those who know me. I love the outdoors and enjoy camping with my family. Before my role at CareFNQ, I was a support worker for six years and have attained my Cert III In Individual Support.


My background in support work helps me make well suited support teams for our valued participants. I look forward to supporting you on your journey with Care FNQ.

Hello, I'm Keegan and I'm the proud Mum of two beautiful daughters. I've been working in and around the NDIS for five years and have attained my Diploma in Leadership and Management as well as my Cert III in Individual Support. I apply my industry experience here at Care FNQ to work alongside everyone and support you and our wonderful team.

Jake Krebbekx - Service Coordinator

Hello, my name is Jake Krebbekx. I started my career as a support worker before moving into service coordination. I have been working as a service coordinator for over three years and have gained valuable experience by working side by side with participants, families and other stakeholders. I am a hard working and driven individual who isn’t afraid to face a challenge. I’m passionate about my work. I’m very communicative, detail oriented and versatile. I like to explore new ways to benefit my patients.

Danielle Garner - Service Coordinator

Hi! My name is Danielle, I have lived in Cairns for 25yrs and am the proud mother of four children. We enjoy camping on the school holiday’s, jet skiing and getting outdoors.  I have recently joined the team at Care FNQ as a Service Coordinator. I have been working in both disability and aged care for the last four years in various leadership roles and look forward to bringing my skills and knowledge over to Care FNQ.

Melissa Webb - Admin Assistant

Hey, I'm Melissa, I am currently undertaking support work and administration work at Care FNQ! I really enjoy both aspects of my job and am keen to continue to grow my knowledge and experience. When I'm not at work, I love going to the beaches and creeks that are found all around Cairns.
